In 2000, I bought an 11-hectare parcel of land that was previously a cornfield. I’ve withdrawn it from cultivation and rewilded it. This farm is now a private reserve. My goal, in the language of ecology, is to achieve the highest diversity and density on the land in the shortest possible time.

By 2024, I’ve found or reintroduced more than 800 species of plants and animals on my estate. This number could realistically reach two thousand by 2030.
